AUTOMOBILE ELEVATOR CAR STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To equip an automobile elevator with a sufficient depth and provide wide availability for various automobile by furnishing the elevator car with side plate at the rear of the car floor as positioned upright from it, and installing a box on the side plate in such an arrangement as extending backward from the car floor. CONSTITUTION:A side plate 3 is installed upright at the rear of the car floor 1 of an automobile elevator and provided with a notch, in which a box 6 is fixed, and thereby a space A extending backward from the car floor 1 is formed. This space A has a width greater than that of an automobile 8 and a height greater than the head or tail of the automobile 8 and is positioned as admitting intrusion of the automobile head or tail. When the doorway 5 is opened for admitting the automobile 8, it is stopped in a specified position by a front and a rear automobile stopper member 7a, 7b, when the depth can be secured satisfactorily owing to the space A formed by the box 6 so that even a large-sized automobile can be set in.
