CRUSHING DEVICE OF LARGE-SIZED METALLIC VESSEL

PURPOSE:To easily crush large-sized metallic vessels in a place where these vessels are emptied of contents and to decrease the space required for storage and transportation by installing a crushing device for the large-sized metallic vessels in contact with conveyors for transporting the large-sized metallic vessels. CONSTITUTION:A stopper 21 on an upstream side ascends by detecting the passage of the large-sized metallic vessel and stops the succeeding large-sized metallic vessels when the large-sized metallic vessel passes the stopper 21 on the upstream side in the state that the stopper 21 on the upstream side is down and a stopper 22 on the downstream side is up. Next, an air cylinder 51 on the roller conveyor side operates to push the large-sized metallic vessel into a housing 31. On the other hand, an air cylinder 53 on a housing side operates as well to clamp the large-sized metallic vessel under a pressing plate 42, thereby positioning the large-sized metallic vessel. Next, a hydraulic cylinder 41 operates and the large-sized metallic vessel is crushed by the pressing plate 42. Finally, an air cylinder 53 on a housing side operates to push out the crushed matter onto the roller conveyor 11. The crushed matter is transported downstream by the roller conveyor 11.
