AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION VOLUME STORAGE AND CONTROL TELEPHONE SET

PURPOSE:To provide a telephone set with which not only reception volume but also transmission volume can be automatically controlled at proper levels in the case of call origination by an input from a function key. CONSTITUTION:This telephone set is provided with a transmission volume control circuit 13 for controlling the transmission volume, reception volume control circuit 11 for controlling the reception volume, memory 18 for storing a dial number, transmission volume set value corresponding to the dial number, and reception volume set value, volume control means 15a for automatically controlling the transmission volume control circuit 13 and the reception volume control circuit 11 based on the transmission volume set value and the reception volume set value corresponding to the dial number stored in the memory 18 at the time of originating a call to that dial number, and memory control means for updating the transmission volume set value or the reception volume set value in the memory 18 when the volume is controlled by the transmission volume control circuit 13 or the reception volume control circuit 11 during speaking. Thus, the suitable volume for both sides of speaking to clearly listen no voices can be set without requiring any complicated operation.
