Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To prevent saturation of flux in a transformer being employed at the output of a square wave inverter. CONSTITUTION:When the output from a speed commander 11 enters into a speed range set at a flux saturation rate command detector 27, a switch 31 functions to deliver a frequency command f0* and a voltage command VR0 from a constant generator 32. The frequency command f0* and the voltage command VR0 are thereby corrected to vary the output voltage and frequency of an inverter 5. The frequency command f0* and the voltage command VR0 are determined such that the variation of the output voltage and frequency has no effect on the output torque of an induction motor. Consequently, the r.p.m. of the induction motor does not fluctuate but since the output frequency of inverter varies, the transformer is protected against application of DC component.
