ELECTROPHOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR

PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic photoreceptor having high sensitivity and high durability. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer contg. a bisazo compd. represented by formula I or II on the electric conductive substrate. In the formulae I/ II, each of rings A and B and Ar-Ar is a residue of an arom. hydrocarbon which may have a substituent, X is -NR- or-S-, each of K -K is a residue of a coupler contg. a hydroxyl group and having coupling ability and R is H, alkyl which may have a substituent or aryl which may have a substituent.
