Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To provide an exhaust device of an internal combustion engine in which looseness of a nut for fastening a cylinder head and an exhaust manifold to each other is prevented. CONSTITUTION:A spacer 13 is formed by cutting off a cylindrical steel pipe, and the full length is set nearly three times the outer diameter of a stud bolt 8. The spacers 13 are respectively arranged two pieces on respective end parts of a flange part 2 on the engine side. For a stud bolt 8, a longer one by the full length of the spacer 13 is used compared with a conventional one. When the flange part 2 on the engine side slides in the left direction in the figure against the end face 7 on the exhaust port side of a cylinder head 6 due to difference of thermal expansion, the stud bolt 8 is bendingly deformed in the spacer 13. As a result, elastic torsion of the stud bolt 8 is hardly generated, and looseness of a nut 9 is prevented.
