Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE:To provide a metal halide lamp having a color temperature of 3000-4000K by keeping high lamp efficiency and a high color rendering property, with which the Dy-T1 metal halide lamp is inherently provided, and suitably decreasing the color temperature of light inside a light emitting tube. CONSTITUTION:Electrodes 2, 3 are sealed at both ends of a light emitting tube 1, into which dysprosium iodide, thallium iodide, cesium iodide, mercury and argon gas are sealed. Heat insulating films 4, 5 are formed at the outer surfaces of the light emitting tube. A multi-layer light interference film 6 is formed at the outer surface held between the heat insulating films 4, 5. The multi-layer light interference film 6 is composed of five layers, where the first, third and fifth layers are made of tantalum oxide while the second and fourth layers are made of silicon oxide. |
