CONSTITUTION:With a traffic lane changing means 29a, the estimated value on the white lines to the right and left by a traveling course estimating means 6C is detected to be different from the estimated value by a traveling road estimating means 6B and the change of the traffic lane is judged based on the uncoincidence of the estimated value. The uncoincident estimated value is continued for the constant time and the estimated value by the means 6B becomes gradually low, the change of the traffic lane is judged. At the time of changing the traffic lane, the estimated value by the means 6B based on the car state amount is used to the prescribed distance in front of the vehicle.
