DUST COLLECTOR

PURPOSE:To efficiently, separate to collect only dust in exhaust gas and to exhaust it out of a stack by providing a plurality of guide vanes and a baffle in a stack cylindrical body, disposing a funnel-like dust integrating hopper having a screen therein in its lower part, and providing a dust outlet at the lowermost position of the bottom of the hopper. CONSTITUTION:An exhaust gas flow rising in a stack lower part 1 is compressed by an oblique side plate of a dust integrating hopper 7 and a stack intermediate part 2 having a small sectional area toward an upward direction, accelerated to be collided with guide vanes 4, and the direction of the flow is hence forcibly altered. In this case, the dust having large specific weight in the exhaust gas is separated by the inertial force of dust molecule, dropped to the lower hopper 7 and stored. Further, the flow is collided with a baffle 5, and hence the separation is expedited. The dust separated from the flow is passed through a screen 6 along the oblique sidewall of the hopper 7, then sequentially dropped and stored by its own weight in the lower part of the hopper 7. Thereafter, the dust is exhausted out of the stack 1 from an outlet 8.
