METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DETECTING COORDINATE

PURPOSE:To reduce a scan time by plural sense loops by arranging plural sense loops each and discriminating a sense loop based on a phase of each sense loop group. CONSTITUTION:Plural sense loops 1, 2 whose directions are determined in advance in each of X, Y directions orthogonal to each other are provided in a tablet 50 at prescribed pitches and the plural sense loops 1, 2 are connected in parallel for each prescribed interval and a phase comparator 66 compares a phase of a sense loop group discriminated by a coordinate indicator 20 with phases of individual sense loops 1, 2 being components of other sense loop group discriminated by the coordinate indicator 20 and a phase of sense loops 1, 2 resident to the left and right side of the sense loops 1, 2. Then the sense loops 1, 2 indicated by the coordinate indicator 20 are discriminated based on the combination of the phases by the phase comparator 66 and the number of sense loop group discriminated by the coordinate indicator 20. Thus, the sense loops are arranged and the sense loop is discriminated by the phase of the sense loop group.
