Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an extention device equipment which can reduce the fault rate that causes the system down due to the fault of a power supply part for improvement of the reliability and also can be connected to plural computers. CONSTITUTION:A power supply part is prepared to each of plural storage units 2 together with plural interface connection paths which divide the units 2 to connect them to plural external computers. In such a constitution, if the power supply part of a certain unit 2 has a fault, the power is supplied to other nondefective units 2 for improvement of reliability of an extention device equipment. Furthermore the equipment can be applied to a personal computer 5 or to the personal computers 5 and 50 when those interface connection paths are switched to each other by a switch.
