Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To protect the optical parts from UV and to make them usable at >=140 deg.C by surface-impregnating the corresponding plastic material of a highly heat-resistant polycarbonate with the amt. of a specific carbonate structural unit specified with respect to the bifunctional structural unit with a soln. of specific UV absorbent. CONSTITUTION: The corresponding plastic material of a highly heat-resistant polycarbonate with the content of the carbonate structural unit corresponding to formula I controlled to 5-100mol%, based on the 100mol% total amt. of the bifunctional carbonate structural unit in the polycarbonate, is surface- impregnated with a soln. of a UV absorbent corresponding to formula II, etc. In formulas I and II, R and R are hydrogen, halogens, 1-8C alkyls, etc., (m) is an integer of 4 to 7, R and R are hydrogen or 1-6C alkyls, X is carbon, both R and R are hydrogen, halogens, 1-10C alkyls, etc., (q) is 1 to 3, and (n) is 1 to 4.
