JOINT LOOM MANUFACTURING CONTINUOUS PLASTIC WOVEN FABRIC WITH JACQUARD MACHINE ARRANGED BELOW WEAVE SHED

PURPOSE: To correspond to a high speed Jacquard machine by once turning downward guided harness cords to the horizontal direction and then gradually turning the harness cords to the vertical direction. CONSTITUTION: In this seam-weaving machine provided with a double-lift open-shed Jacquard machine, the Jacquard machine 1 is arranged underneath the weaving shed 11, and tension springs 15 for drawing back the harness cords 8 are arranged above the weaving shed 11. The downward guided harness cords 8 are turned to the horizontal direction through a deflecting roller 9 and then gradually turned from the horizontal direction to the vertical direction through plural comber boards 12. A harness board 13 which consists of two halves connected by a hinged joint and which is arranged above the weaving shed 11 is combined with a tension spring grille 14 divided in the same way which is arranged above the weaving shed 11, and makes possible a matching of the distance between the harness cords 8 to the distance between the auxiliary warp threads inside the weaving shed 11. The paper-forming fabric 2 is guided round the Jacquard machine so that the two woven fabric ends 3, 4 to be joined are clamped fast on stationary tracks 5, 6 to form a prescribed woven fabric.
