Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To easily produce a high-density scrap sintered compact excellent in strength at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:A scrap powder material 12 and a sintering metal powder 11 are mixed, and the mixture is sintered to obtain the sintered compact. In this case, the scrap powder material 12 is mixed with the sintering metal powder 11, and the mixture is compacted to form a green compact which is heated and sintered. The green compact is preferably formed with 50-97% scrap powder material and 3-50% metal powder. The metal powder consists of a metal powder, a brazing filler metal and a lubricant, and the average grain diameter is preferably controlled to 5-500mum.
