Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To largely increase the effective reach of a crane by expanding the crane below a power cable before elevating a bucket. CONSTITUTION: An area for a power cable is cleaned by using a truck 50 having a laterally telescoping bucket platform on an end part of a conventional crane having a work station, i.e., a bucket 52. The truck 50 is stopped adjacent to the area for cleaning, and the bucket platform is extended below a power cable 60. The crane and the bucket 52 reach to a bough 54 by a regular method, and operated to remove the bough. The bucket platform is preferably expanded/ contracted by the hydraulic power, and has a telescoping expansion member on one side for stabilizing the bucket platform. The effective reach of the crane is largely increased.
