PRODUCTION OF PHENOLIC RESIN MOLDED PRODUCT

PURPOSE:To improve releasability to enhance productivity by subjecting a phenolic resin compounded with a proper amt. of a thermoplastic resin of which the melt viscosity is a predetermined value and the compatibility is 20% or less to injection molding. CONSTITUTION:A molding material prepared by adding 1-40 pts.wt. of thermoplastic resin wherein melt viscosity at 150 deg.C is 1000 poise or less and the compatibility with a phenolic resin is 20wt.% or less, a reinforcing agent and a filler to 100 pts.wt. of the phenolic resin is subjected to injection molding to produce a phenolic resin molded product. Since this molded product can be improved in releasability even if a release agent is applied to a mold and the effect of the releasability is continued, productivity is enhanced. Further, the strength of the molded product is held and the appearance shape thereof is good and the generation of color irregularity and coating irregularity is reduced and percent defective can be lowered to a large extent.
