Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a battery charger in which charging capacity of battery is prevented from lowering due to temperature drop. CONSTITUTION:The battery charger 1 is provided with a controller 7 comprising means for operating a reference charging time based on the sum of first half and second half charging times, means for determining a supplementary charging amount depending on the difference between a reference charging amount and an optimal charging amount, means for operating the difference between a total charging time and the reference charging time as a supplementary charging time, and means for dividing the supplementary charging amount by the supplementary charging time to operate a supplementary charging current.
