ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PHOTORECEPTOR AND ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor having durability to generation of wear and flaws by rubbing and having durability to images free from out-of-focus images by containing a lubricant and a polycarbonate resin of a specific weight average mol.wt. into the surface layer of the photoreceptor. CONSTITUTION:The surface layer of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 contains the lubricating oil and the polycarbonate resin having the weight average mol.wt. 100000 to 150000. Namely, lubricity is imparted to the surface of the electrophotographic photoreceptor 1 by making combination use of the lubricating oil and the polycarbonate resin which has the weight average mol.wt. 100000 to 150000 and is formulated to take coatability into consideration, by which the mechanical damage, such as wear or flaw at the time of cleaning is prevented and a releasing property and water repelling property are exhibited. Further, the photoreceptor and its surface which have the improved chemical durability and are properly balanced by decreasing a chipping quantity and making the surface slippery are formed. As a result, the durability is exceedingly improved.
