Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an image forming method which forms images having a high color developing density and good transparency and further forms images having good resolution at a high gamma. CONSTITUTION:This image forming method comprises forming an image by subjecting an image forming medium 21 which is formed by incorporating at least one kind of a silicate compd. or an inorg. compd. having water of crystallization and an org. silver salt and reducing agent onto a base to exposing with an IR laser beam. This image forming medium 21 is heated to be in a range from 40 to 80 deg.C.
