BALLAST CONDITION INSPECTION DEVICE FOR ROADBED SHOULDER PART

PURPOSE:To increase efficiency in inspecting a ballast condition of a track roadbed. CONSTITUTION:A ballast condition inspection device has two measuring optical systems 6L and 6R which are mounted on a track inspection measuring car and are composed of a light projecting part 61 to project plural laser spots Sp on a slant face of ballast B of left and right shoulder parts 3L and 3R and a light receiving part 62 having TV cameras to pick up images of the respective spots Sp and a VTR to record image data successively outputted from the respective TV cameras by travel of the track inspection-measuring car and a distance mark from a distance mark generating part, and is also composed of an aboveground device which is arranged aboveground and analyzes the respective recorded image data and calculates a cross sectional measure by finding a cross-sectional shape of the ballast B and detects a collapsed part by judging a ballast condition as defective when this is larger than a reference value and displays the cross-sectional shape and position data.
