Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To detect the position of presence of lining layer damage of piping on which lining is performed by an insulation substance such as glass on the inside of the piping. CONSTITUTION:The inside of piping on which lining is performed is filled with a conductive liquid medium, electrodes A, B are disposed to be contact with the liquid medium and a conductive pipe body 1, high frequency voltage is applied between the two electrodes A, B, and magnetic fields produced on flange parts (a)-(f) are measured with a non-contact type detector 4, so that the presence and the position of lining layer damage 2 can be detected.
