Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a pipe fitting capable of facilitating jointing work, and reducing jointing cost. CONSTITUTION: Axial lines of a first and a second pipes 11, 12 are alingned, and their end surfaces 11a, 12a are applied to both side surfaces of a metal gasket 13. By driving a first and a second taper nuts 16, 18 to a first and a second taper screws 14b, 15b having slits 14c, 15c of a first and a second fitting 14, 15 in cylindrical form engaged with the first and the second pipes 11, 12, the first and the second fitting 14, 15 are fixed to the first and the second pipes 11, 12. By driving an installation nut member 17 to a male screw 14d of the first fitting 14 to be tightened, an engagement part 17a of the installation nut member 17 pressed a flange part 15a of the second fitting 15 through a thrust bearing 20. The end surface 11a, 12a of the first and the second pipes 11, 12 are pressure-welded with both side surfaces of a metal gasket 13.
