COLUMN-BEAM CONNECTIVE STRUCTURE AND METHOD THEREFOR

PURPOSE:To perform joining between a column and a beam easily and firmly without installing any reinforcing member. CONSTITUTION:A wall thickness part 11a by means of induction heating and compression is installed in a part in the longitudinal direction of a steel pipe column 11, and an end part of a rolled steel beam 12 is bolted to this wall thickness part 11a of the column 11. This joining between the end part of the beam 12 and the wall thickness part 11a of the column 11 is carried out via a pair of split tees 13 bolted each to the wall thickness part 11a and vertical flanges 12a of the beam 12, but it may be done via an end plate of the beam. In addition, a one-side bolt may be used to a bolt 15 being inserted through the steel pipe column 11. In this connection, the joining of the end aprt of the beam 12 to the wall thickness part 11a of the column 11 may be done by means of welding as well.
