Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an affixing method by which a protective film can be affixed on the surface of a hood, etc., without generating an unevenness in luster, and the protective film can be simply and easily affixed on the surface of a hood, etc., without requiring a special experience, and at the same time, the protective film can be easily peeled. CONSTITUTION:By the title affixing method, a protective film 7 is affixed on a hood 4 or trunk lid of an automobile by using a fixing apparatus T consisting of an approx. triangular cap made of an approx. triangular front side sheet and rear side sheet, adhesive layer which is provided on the surface of the front side sheet, and a release paper which is affixed on the adhesive layer. After fixing the fixing apparatus T with the release paper side facing upward, at external corner parts 6 of the hood 4 or trunk lid, the release paper is removed, and the protective film is affixed to the exposed adhesive layer.
