PANEL OPENING AND CLOSING DEVICE FOR SUNSHINE ROOF

PURPOSE:To center-support a guide pin and to prevent an elevation link from laterally swing and being distorted by forming, in the end part of a shoe auxiliary body, an auxiliary guide surface against which one end of the guide pin abuts when the other end of the guide pin slides in a cam groove. CONSTITUTION:A panel is opened and closed by moving a slider forward and backward and an elevation link 13 rises and falls through an elevating means 15 with the movement of a forward and backward moving member 14. The forward and backward moving member 14 is provided with cam grooves 17 and 19 at its front and rear parts. The elevation link 13 has its front part connected to the panel by a pivot 12. An intermediate pin 16 and a rear pin 18 provided in the intermediate part and the rear part of the link 13 are engaged and guided in the cam grooves 17 and 19, and thus, the link 13 is swung so as to elevate or lower its front part. When one end of the intermediate pin 16F of the front elevation link 13 slides in the front part of the cam groove 17, the other end of the intermediate pin 16F abuts against the auxiliary guide surface 27 of a shoe auxiliary member 24F so that the elevation link is guided with the intermediate pin 16F center-supported.
