THREE-DIMENSIONAL VOLUME DATA DISPLAY SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To display the internal state of a cube without the need of skill and without a picture becoming blurry. CONSTITUTION:A viewpoint is set at the external part of volume data which is constituted by plural voxcel and displays a cube. The values of the respective voxcel constituting volume data are threshold-judged along a glance to volume data from the viewpoint. When the voxcel value increases and it goes across the threshold, the point is detected as a surface, and luminance is given to the detected surface in accordance with distances d1,...dk from the viewpoint. Given luminance values are integrated and luminance is given to a picture element corresponding to the glance.
