Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To reduce the transmission time when image information in different color is sent in a same shape. CONSTITUTION:When a read command is given from a panel 22, a scanner 14 reads an original and an image signal from the scanner 14 is converted by a color conversion section 17 and the information after color conversion is compression-coded by a coding decoding section 18. When a selection command is given from the panel 22, a CPU 12 selects a conversion pattern of color information registered in a ROM 13 and it is sequentially stored in a RAM 15. When a transmission command is received from the panel 22, the CPU 12 sends the conversion pattern of the color information in the RAM 15 together with compression coding information. On the other hand, when the conversion pattern is received with the compression coding information, the CPU 12 implements color conversion according to the conversion pattern to generate sequentially the image information of a different color and the same shape according to the conversion pattern and the information is printed out sequentially by a color printer 28.
