Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To implement facsimile transmission automatically and to prevent mis- operation by using an optical read means to read a destination number described on a facsimile transmission paper sheet and connecting a facsimile transmission line to a destination number so as to send the information therethrough. CONSTITUTION:A facsimile transmission paper sheet 1 is sequentially transmitted to a facsimile equipment, the facsimile information described on the paper 1 is sequentially read by an optical read sensor 5, and stored in a facsimile transmission storage section 6. Ten a facsimile transmission control section 8 reads pattern information of a destination number described at a prescribed position of the paper 1 in the information stored in the storage section 6 and gives the information to a facsimile transmission destination number analysis section 7. The analysis section 7 uses a recognition algorithm and a reference pattern to recognize the information as figures and collates the result with information in a destination number list and displays the result of analysis on a destination number analysis result display section 12 and sends the information of a destination number to the facsimile transmission control section 8. The control section 8 sends the information stored in the storage section 6 to the destination number via a facsimile transmission line control section 10.
