IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To compactly constitute an image-forming device by moving an exposer and a transfer means which has less occupying volume, in comparison with entire developing devices. CONSTITUTION: The initial position of an exposer 30 is located at a most significant position Ha, a developer 43 of an image-formation unit 40a existent at that most significant position stores a black toner as a developer 44, and the developers at the other positions respectively store Yellow, Cyan and Magenta toners. When forming a color image, the exposer 30 moves to respective positions Ha, Hb, Hc and Hd and successively exposes respective photosensitive objects 41, and any relevant developer develops the latent images of these photosensitive objects 41. Then, four chargers 70a, 70b, 70c and 70d for transfer are successively and selectively operated, corresponding to that determined sequence as well. Then, recording paper 51 is operated, so as to be circulated through the endless track of an endless track belt 60.
