Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To remove a surface foreign substance of all rolls coming in contact with a through plate by passing a continuous plate for maintenance forming a low hardness and tacky material layer on the surface of the continuous plate for the through plate through a roll line of roll processing equipment and transferring and attaching the foreign substance to the tacky material layer. CONSTITUTION:Taking up of a steel plate 10 for maintenance rolled up on a pay-off reel 1 to a tension reel 9 by a through plate in the arrow direction is carried out by periodically passing the steel plate 10 through a continuous processing device. A foreign substance attached on each of a series of roll surfaces of the pay-off reel 1, a pinch roll 2, leveller 4, a table roll 6, an oiler 7 and a deflector 8 is transferred and attached to a low hardness tacky material 14 (for example, urethane rubber) formed on the front and back surfaces of the steel plate 10 for maintenance. Consequently, it is possible to clean the surface of each of the rolls.
