TELEVISION CHANNEL DISPLAY METHOD

PURPOSE:To provide a television channel display method capable of being used corresponding to the kill and understanding by a user, easily grasping what kinds of channels are present and easily selecting a desired channel from the channels. CONSTITUTION:A virtual channel arrangement space is set, a horizontal direction {an (x) axis and an (y) axis} is defined as the axis of the extend of fields, a vertical direction {an (z) axis} is defined as the axis of the degree of an outline and absorption and the screens of the respective channels are arranged on the bottom surface of the space. By using a remote controller or the like, a visual field for viewing the bottom surface is decided at a position inside the virtual channel arrangement space of a movable viewer and the screens of the respective channels are displayed. That is, the viewer defines a lowest first layer, horizontal movement as simple V channel changeover. What kinds of the channels are present is easily grasped by a usually familiar concept that is geographic arrangement on a two-dimensional plane. By the rise of the layer, the visual field is widened, the plural channels are simultaneously displayed on the screen and listing ability is obtained.
