Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To smoothly conduct flat cable insertion work. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of terminal receiving holes 2 in which terminals 17 are built in, and cable insertion chambers 6 communicated therewith are formed inside of a housing 1. On the other hand, a tip of a flat cable 4 is bonded and fixed to a locking member 5 and inserted into the cable insertion chamber 6 together with the locking member 5. Since a locking protrusion 23 formed on the locking member 5 is engaged with a locking groove 24 on the housing 1 side, the flat cable 4 is restricted together with the locking member 5 from coming off from the housing 1.
