QUICK JOINT DEVICE FOR ELECTRODE BUS BAR CONNECTION IN ELECTRIC PLATING LINE

PURPOSE:To shorten the line stop time by pinching and connecting a power feed side fixed bus bar feeding electricity to an electrode plate and a plating cell side electrode plate bus bar from both sides with a hinge-like quick joint. CONSTITUTION:A plating cell side electrode plate bus bar 2 is suspended together with a plating cell at the terminal section of an electrode feed fixed bus bar 1 erected from below, and the bus bars 1, 2 are alternately coupled. A quick joint 5 is mounted on a quick joint mount 6 installed on the bus bar 1 in the electrically insulated state, and it has three hinge bus bar pinching mobile arms 7. When the arms 7 are closed and three fixing bolts 8 fitted on opposite side to the arms 7 are fastened and fixed to arm tip bolt holes, the bus bars 1, 2 are thoroughly pinched by the joint 5, and the connection of the bus bars 1, 2 is completed. The work is completed by only three bolts, and the work load and working time can be reduced.
