DEVICE FOR GUIDING UNMANNED VEHICLE

PURPOSE:To facilitate the establishment or change of a traveling route and to appropriately guide an unmanned vehicle. CONSTITUTION:The light emitted from a flood lamp 3 is reflected on a reflector sheet 13 added with bar codes 13a by a reflection mirror 4 and reflected back to the reflection mirror. The position of the reflection mirror to be rotated by a motor 8 for rotation is detected by a position detector 10 and outputted to a latch circuit 12. The return light reflected on the reflection mirror and a half mirror 14 is detected by a photodetector 15 and outputted to the latch circuit 12 and a recognizing circuit 16. The reflector sheet is discriminated from the reflected bar codes in the return light by the recognizing circuit and outputted to a central processing unit 2. The unit 2 calculates the position and traveling direction of an unmanned vehicle 1 from the angles of over two pairs of reflector sheets and the installing positions of respective pairs of reflector sheets to travel the vehicle in the calculated direction. A guiding member such as a reflection tape is unnecessitated to facilitate the establishment or change of the traveling route. Since the reflector sheet can be discriminated, the vehicle can accurately be guided.
