Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide a light emission display device wherein a wiring is simple and inexpensive and display is bright. CONSTITUTION:A phototransistor 22 is connected to a light emitting diode 21 in series. This phototransistor 22 is arranged so that a light from the light emitting diode 21 is made incident thereon. The phototransistor 22 is provided with a light guide 27 for guiding a data signal light ID thereto and a light guide 28 for guiding a scanning signal light 1S thereto. Thus, an electric wiring for data and scanning signals is unnecessitated and the phototransistor 22 is turned ON by means of a light emitted from the light emitting diode 21.
