Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE:To provide an instrument for a vehicle in which dust is scarcely entered by incorporating a folding state and an assembling state in a case. CONSTITUTION:The instrument for a vehicle comprises a case body 2, a rotary case 3 which is rotated at a supporting point provided at a rear side of the body 2 as an axis, and a surface member 9 disposed in openings formed at the case 3 and the body 2. The instrument selectively has a folding state and an assembling state by the rotation of the case 3 to the body 2 in such a manner that a sidewall 2a' of the body 2, a sidewall 3c of the case 3 and a sidewall 9b of the member 9 are superposed on each other in the folding state and the assembling state. Further, front ends 3a, 3b of the case 3 and a rear end 9c of the member 9 are superposed on each other in the folding state and the assembling state.
