MANUFACTURE OF ELASTIC VIBRATION ISOLATING RUBBER HAVING GROOVE AND METHOD FOR ISOLATING VIBRATION OF TRACK USING THIS RUBBER

PURPOSE:To realize the constant spring constant up to larger load by forming a groove in one surface of a rubber sheet so that the displacement of the rubber sheet may cause the compressive displacement and the shearing displacement when the compressive load is applied to the surface of the rubber sheet. CONSTITUTION:Trapezoidal grooves 11 are alternatively provided on and under rubber sheets 10 to increase the deflection, and the inclination theta is formed at the vertical part of the grooves 11. When the load is applied to the rubber sheets 10 from the top, a compressive element 13 is simply compressed while a shearing element 12 causes the shearing displacement due to the load from the top and the load from the bottom through the reacting effect because the surface to which the load is applied and the surface on the opposite side are not supported. This constitution provides a vibration isolating rubber support whose spring constant is constant up to large load, and prevents the buckling by reducing the thickness of the vibration isolating rubber sheets 10.
