SYNTHETIC RESIN THRUST BEARING

PURPOSE:To ensure smooth and stable rotation even when a medium load is applied without loss of advantages of synthetic resin thrust bearing, such as moldability, mas-productivity, light weight, and low cost. CONSTITUTION:With the synthetic resin thrust bearing, a post 1 is passed through a center hole 2a formed in ring-like manner, and the bearing is composed of a pad 2 provided with a pad-upper face 2b and a pad-lower face 2c of semi-circularly projected section, and a collar 3, on the upper face of which a pad-receiving face 3a provided with an engaging groove 3b of semi-circularly recessed section for slidably contacting the pad-lower face 2c is provided, and which is provided with a pad-stop part 6 on the peripheral edge of the pad- receiving face 3a and the fitting base part 7 to the post 1. Since a fixing bush 4 is held between the inside peripheral surface 7a of the base part and the outer peripheral surface 1a of the post by the tapered part and frictional force between the inside peripheral surface 7a of the base part and the outside peripheral surface of the fixing bush 4, the collar 3 is fitted to the post 1.
