CORE HOLDER WITH CLAMPING TONGUE PIECE AND KNOCKING MECHANISM

PURPOSE: To provide a lead holder having a holding tongue piece and a knocking mechanism capable of being used for a relatively soft lead. CONSTITUTION: An axial motion limiting holding ring 7 is attached to a holding tongue piece 6, and a lead braking member 8 is provided at a shaft tip 3. The tip 3 has an axially inward protrusion 31, which has at least one pressing edge 32. A ring-like sleeve 61 directed forward toward the tip 3 is molded at the piece 6 having at least one pressing position 62. An axially pressing distance of the piece 6 or a knock member is shorter than a feeding distance of the ring 7. When the piece 6 advances at an enlarging distance and the piece 6 is disposed at the feeding position, the edge 32 of the protrusion 31 urges the position 62 provided at the sleeve 61, thereby forcibly opening the tongue piece.
