SHUTTLE TYPE CARRYING DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide a shuttle type carrying device capable of greatly increasing the productivity and the reliability of the device by the automation of the work carriage and the vehicle kind. CONSTITUTION:A carrying machine 10 to reciprocate between adjacent devices and a mounting jig 30 provided on various devices and capable of delivering a drive shaft W between the devices and the carrying machine 10 are provided. In the carrying machine 10, a pair of upper and lower parallel chucks 11 capable of holding the drive shaft W in the erected condition are provided on a bracket 13 which is reciprocally provided in the direction orthogonal to the parallel line on a base 12 which is reciprocal along the carrying line through a supporting plate 14, and the mounting jig 30 is provided with a plurality of pairs of upper and lower receiving parts 31 in the direction where the base 12 is moved to deliver the drive shaft W to/from the parallel chuck 11, and dispenses with the change of the receiving parts 31 in changing the vehicle kind.
