FLOTATION APPARATUS

PURPOSE:To provide a flotation apparatus capable of stably supplying and recovering a liquid droplet. CONSTITUTION:In this flotation apparatus equipped with a liquid sample supply pipe 5 opened to a floating space at the tip part thereof and receiving the supply of a liquid sample to form a liquid droplet at the tip part thereof, a separation means separating the liquid droplet from the liquid sample supply pipe and a means confining the separated liquid droplet in the floating space so as to prevent the same from the contact with the periphery, the separation means utilizes air to spray compressed air to the liquid droplet 1 or utilizes voltage. The liquid sample supply pipe is cyclically vibrated and the tip part of the liquid sample supply pipe 5 is obliquely cut or heated. Further, a plurality of the liquid sample supply pipes may be provided to supply two or more kinds of liquid samples. The liquid droplet is recovered by the suction due to a liquid droplet recovery pipe or by an adsorbing element.
