CLUB FOR GOLF

PURPOSE:To provide a club for which a head part is prevented from being twisted by the reaction of hitting, satisfactory directivity is provided and distance feelings can easily be adjusted by forming the club in a certain shape so that the axial extended line of a shaft can be matched with the position of a sole on the hitting center face of a club head. CONSTITUTION:The iron club is composed of a head part 1, shaft part 2 and grip part 3, and the head part 1 is provided with a hitting face part 11, sole part 12 on a lower face and neck part 13. Concerning such a club, the neck part 13 is comparatively extended, an axial line A of the shaft 2 is formed so as to cross a sole position B1 just under the optimum hitting position (core part) of the hitting face part 11, and a prescribed lie angle and a face angle can be maintained in the case of correct soling. Thus, when hitting a ball, the sole part 12 hits the ball on its ground face on the extended line of the axial line A of the shaft part 2, and the ball can be exactly hit at any proper position on the face plane 11.
