Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To provide a system for multicast tree communication of high reliability by transmitting an acknowledgment of multicast message reception to nodes in both directions across each transmission link. CONSTITUTION: Each of nodes A120 to E128 which are inerconnected by transmission links 121, 123, 125, and 127 forming a spanning tree transmits an acknowledgment of multicast message reception to all nodes directly adjacent to the node itself. If the node cannot receive the acknowledgment of multicast message reception from all directly adjacent nodes, it retransmits a multicast message considered to be lost. Consequently, each of nodes A120 to E128 can immediately release its buffer when receiving the acknowledgment from all directly adjacent nodes.
