ROUND TWISTED METALLIC YARN FOR PIECE DYEING PROCESSING OF WOOL, TWISTED YARN OR WORSTED YARN USING THE SAME AND WOOL PRODUCT USING THE SAME TWISTED YARN OR WORSTED YARN

PURPOSE:To obtain round twisted metallic yarn for piece dyeing processing of wool, capable of being readily dyed in the same color as that of wool by a normal pressure dyeing method of wool without damaging handle of a wool product even by mixing the metallic yarn with a wool product and using. CONSTITUTION:One side of a polyamide-based film such as one having usually 6-12mum, preferably 6-9mum thickness is provided with a metallized layer to give a laminate, which is stuck through an adhesive layer to a polyester-based film having thickness thinner than that of the polamide film while laying the metallized later side inside to produce a laminate film. The laminate film is slitted into about 0.15-2mm width. The prepared slit yarn is wound on an arbitrary core yarn while laying the polyamide-based film side outside to produce round twisted metallic yarn for piece dyeing processing of wool. Au, Ag, Al, Cr, Ni, Cu, Pd, In, Pb, Pd, Zn, Sn, etc., are used as the metallized layer and its thickness is in the range of 20-100nm, especially preferably 35-60nm.
