BILL PAYMENT DEVICE AND BILL EXTRUDING MECHANISM

PURPOSE:To facilitate the maintenance and inspection of the major parts and prevent an extruding mechanism from being applied with an unreasonable force. CONSTITUTION:A temporary retention section and an extruding mechanism are integrally constituted as an action unit 19, and it is installed in a base frame 29. The base frame 29 is formed with plate-like members into a U-shape, two square rod-like sliders 20 are fixed in parallel on the outer face side of a bottom section, and the action unit 19 can be slid on the inner face of the bottom section of a case 33 and the surface of a horizontally positioned dual purpose plate 30. The dual purpose plate 30 serves as a guide when the action unit 19 is drawn at the horizontal position and as a front cover of a payment port 17 side at the vertical position. The extruding mechanism is constituted of a main pulley 24 connected to a motor via a torque limiting mechanism not shown in the figure, two intermediate pulleys 25, a wire 26 wound on the main pulley 24 and wound on the intermediate pulleys 25 in a loop shape, and an extruding tool 23 fixed at the upper portion of the wire 26.
