DEVICE FOR FORMING SUPERPLASTIC

PURPOSE:To provide a device for forming superplastic with which a forming mold and mold clamping device are miniaturized and further the variation of the kind and shape of a formed article is coped inexpensively and simply. CONSTITUTION:The forming mold 1 is composed of plural split molds 3-5 and flanges 7-12 are provided in places for joining the split molds 3-5. At the time of forming, a furnace body 2 in which the forming mold 1 is housed is composed of divided furnace bodies 13-15 in which respective split molds 3 5 are mounted freely attachably and detachably and the flanges 7 12 are projected outside the furnace body 2. Heaters 18 are fixed on the inside wall parts of the furnace body 2. The form-mold l is clamped by holding the flanges 7-12 projected outside the furnace body 2 by clamping means 23, 24.
