Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE:To economically detect a short-circuit/open state of each subscriber's line and an on-hook/off-hook state of a corresponding subscriber's terminal in the subscriber's line test equipment. CONSTITUTION:When a short-circuit/open state of a subscriber's line 6 and an on-hook/off-hook state of a corresponding subscriber's terminal are detected by the voltage detection method, while the subscriber's line 206 selectively led into a subscriber's line test equipment 202 by a subscriber's line monitor circuit 101 provided in the equipment 202 is energized by an existing test use subscriber's circuit 203, the state of the subscriber's line 206 is economically detected with less mount space in the equipment 202.
