DATA COMPRESSION DEVICE

PURPOSE:To raise compressibility by utilizing the features of interference signal data which are the object of compression. CONSTITUTION:This device is constituted of a storage part 12, a prediction part 14, a difference calculation part 16 and an encoding part 18, successively inputs respective data constituting the interference signal data and performs the compression for the respective data. In this compression, prescribed data inputted before the input data yn at the present point of time are held in the storage part 12 and the prediction part 14 predicts the value of the input data yn at the present point of time based on the data held in the storage part 12. For instance, a method of applying a polynominal to the plural data inputted immediately before the input data yn at the present point of time and calculating the predicted value ypn of the input data yn at the present point of time by the polynominal can be adopted. The difference calculation part 16 calculates a difference between the input data yn at the present point of time and the predicted value ypr fro, the prediction part 12 and the encoding part 16 encodes the value of the difference DELTAyn by utilizing the features of the interference signal data which are the compression object. Thus, the compressibility is improved and transfer time is reduced as well.
