ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC DEVICE

PURPOSE:To provide an electrophotographic device which never generates wrinkles on a recording member and prevents irregularities in a transfer, at the time of forming an image on the recording member. CONSTITUTION:The electrophotographic device is constituted to prevent the wrinkles of a recording paper P and the irregularities in the transfer in such a manner that when the fact that the recording paper P reaches a fixing part 12 fixing a visible image on the recording paper P is detected by a sensor 25, a motor 36 is driven to turn a gear 38 and a cam 35, an arm 30 supporting both ends of a shaft 31 provided with a pinch roller 27 is moved upward to separate the pinch roller 27 from a carrying roller 18 and the recording paper P is carried only with the carrying force of a fixing roller 19 to prevent uneven tensile force from being imparted to the recording paper P.
