OBJECT IMAGE INPUT UNIT

PURPOSE:To determine the diameter of a micro pare in an object accurately by picking up the image thereof accurately. CONSTITUTION:A guide member 12 for receiving an object 24 carried from the upstream side at a receiving section 12A and guiding the object 24 to the downstream side is provided, at the positions corresponding to respective receiving sections, with openings 12B. A photosensor 14 detects the opening 12B arriving at a predetermined position thus detecting the object 24 being positioned at a measuring position accurately. A recording means 18 stores image data picked up by means of a CCD camera 16 in synchronism with a detection signal from the photosensor 14. Consequently, an image data of the object 24 including the accurate image of micro pores thereof can be obtained.
